Reflective Practice

Interpretation of brief

I worked on the eBook project I made sure that the Images where edited and in the correct format before saving all the work.

Before i started any project i made a plan which i done research and noted what each individual piece of information was logged and save in the appropriate files , That way they would be easy to locate.

Organisation of resources

The resources that i used was found on  the internet. I made sure that i made full use of the information that i found. I also used programmes such as Adobe Premier Pro , Photoshop to edit or crop the images that needed edited.

Development of ideas

I looked for different images and then i would choose a few and decide what i thought would work well with that individual project.  I would also write down different ideas and that seemed to work.

Once i had all the texts and images for the eBook i made sure that it was on the correct format. Then i saved it onto the correct named file on my pen drive. Once this was checked i then put it onto the College Tutors pen drive so all the copies would be ready for use.

Group Working Evaluation

How did you feel about working as part of a group?

I found working in a group enjoyable. I worked in the group creating an eBook which went well.

Give one potential benefit of group working.

I feel that working in a group benefited me with creating Ideas from others.

Give one potential drawback of group working.

The only drawback with working in a group can be that if one person has the information and is not available on the day that it is needed.

Give an example of what worked well in your project.

I feel that the eBook project that i took part in was enjoyable and challenging. I done alot of research to find a lot of the information that was required.

What would you do different next time?

I think that i would make sure that everyone saved the information on either student account or onto a pen drive. Apart from that i would not do anything different.

For Google account, I’ve used it for when I needed to upload my work to YouTube, so overall It’s been easy to learn how to use it and how to do it properly.  For WordPress, out of the three, it was probably the most difficult to learn how to use but rewarding once I knew what to do and now it’s easy whenever I have to post work. For Facebook, It’s probably the easiest out of the three since I’ve had it for quite a long time despite me nit using it as much in the past but It’s been easy to use whenever I needed to post work on it.
